Chieli Minucci and Special EFX featuring Jay Rowe, Lionel Cordew, Jerry Brooks, and Phil Hamilton will be closing the 2010 Branford Jazz Series Thursday night, August 26, 6:30pm! 

Join Special EFX in celebrating their 25th Anniversary and the release of their live DVD recorded at their 2009 Java Jazz show in Jakarta, Indonesia.  CD's and DVD's will be on sale throughout the show and the band will be available for autographs after their performance. 

That's what the 2010 Branford Jazz Series on the Green is going to be!  The month of July will feature local and regional jazz performers and then the series switches into high gear for the month of August with *four* national acts in row culminating with a group that has appeared at the Hartford Jazz Festival and at the Lyman Center Smooth Jazz Series!  Who you might ask?  Well you're just going to have to wait until we post it here -or- you could subscribe to the Blue Plate Radio Newsletter and maybe just get in on the announcement a little early!  Either way, you won't want to miss the 2010 Branford Jazz Series on the Green - the BEST jazz series on the planet!
